Southern Tea

Just had tea that was exaggeratedly sweet. It was to the point that I almost spit it out. I’ve lived in Florida for most of my life, and I’ve never been a fan of the sweet tea you find here. I only like it with a little sugar. I should just asked for unsweet and add a little bit of sugar. Not sure why I’m posting this, I just feel like I’ve neglected Tumblr recently.

4 Days!!!

Holy Crap, 4 days until Luciano comes home from Brazil. This week is actually going faster than I thought it would. I’m most likely going to be in shock Saturday morning. Good things are happening here. I finally got hours at work next week. Things are finally looking brighter. If you have a job, be happy. It really is hard finding work these days.

I don’t feed my dog Iams, but I love anything with a Chinese Crested in it, and Bulldogs are just plain awesome.

"The more our feelings diverge, the more deeply felt they are, the greater is our obligation to grant the sincerity and essential decency of our fellow citizens on the other side… .
In short, I hope for an America where neither “fundamentalist” nor “humanist” will be a dirty word, but a fair description of the different ways in which people of good will look at life and into their own souls.
I hope for an America where no president, no public official, no individual will ever be deemed a greater or lesser American because of religious doubt — or religious belief.
I hope for an America where the power of faith will always burn brightly, but where no modern inquisition of any kind will ever light the fires of fear, coercion, or angry division.
I hope for an America where we can all contend freely and vigorously, but where we will treasure and guard those standards of civility which alone make this nation safe for both democracy and diversity."
— Ted Kennedy
"For me, a few hours ago, this campaign came to an end. For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."
— Ted Kennedy
